I'm getting closer and closer to finishing up my BA and it's freaking me out. I'm not excited for the moment when I get out of school and can't find work. I guess the good thing is that for my last couple of credits I do have to either intern or work at a theatre which would be fantastic. I guess that will give me a bit of experience, and I am learning a lot working on shows as well. We'll see.

Also what is with the way LJ looks like now. I am not enjoying this.

I need a Diet Coke.

Oh hey gurl hey.

So. It's been a while and I know it.
I feel like I have a hundred things to post about. So...deep breath.

So! Danie was accepted o Central and she and I are going to be roommates. I cannot wait. As an early birthday gift she got me a cardboard cutout of the TARDIS. I told her I wanted to put in in front of the kitchen so the inside of the TARDIS would be the kitchen. Awesome. We got our apartment in Brooklane Village. We still need to sign the lease and what not, but we got a two story two bedroom apartment. I cannot wait.

Danie sent me an craiglist ad for a small start up video game company who were looking for people to audition for roles in their first game. She basically told me she would hurt me when she got back from France if I didn't audition. She knows how much it means to me and that voice over work is what I want to do with my life. I was super nervous but I took a deep breath and recorded the lines and sent in the audition.
Surprise! I got offered the role. We recorded last Sunday and it was the most fantastic amazing experience of my life. I realized that yes...this is exactly what I want to do.

I'm working again back at the old store, racking up rent money again. Wooo.

Figured out my next tattoo...hoping I can possibly spare some money for that, it's not that big so it won't be horridly expensive.

And that's all I can really thing of right now.

I had a horrid sore throat the past couple of days...and now a weird cough. Where the hell did this come from.

Deal With It.

This winter has been rather warm. Here's to hoping that the weather report for this weekend as of right now will change by Thursday so I can have a fantastic 4 day weekend back at home. And not here. Hope no snow on the pass. Please!

Ah, today's play!
November 17: Veuve Clicquot

365 Plays/365 Days

Reading Suzan Lori-Park's 365 Plays/365 Days. As I read the intro she talked about how no matter how busy she was it became her daily thing like meditation. So I've decided to read one a day for the next year, hoping it'll give me that moment I need to relax and unwind, even if it is just for five minute.

Today's play: November 13-Start Here

I guess I got a little distracted during November for finishing up the quarter. Not to mention the fun day I had trying to get home over Snoqualmie Pass. Fuck snow. I never want to see snow ever again.

Now that Christmas is almost here and I have a moment before I have to get ready to go to work I figured I could update. I come home for the holidays on the first. I was hired back at VIViD COLLECTiON which was a relief and also gives me more rent money. That's about it...I'm pretty tired a good majority of the time because I'm working until 10 every night. Meh.

Good news is my sister comes home today for her break.

Happy Halloween!

To start off on a serious note, I hate the noises that the emergency alert system makes. Freaks me out, but I guess that's the point, and I do still listen. It went off today as Jeopardy! started, and an Amber Alert was issued. I hope the child is found safe and okay ]:

I got a package from my mom today, I was very confused when I opened it to find a children book called 'The Woodpile Kitty'. What the...what is my mother sending me childrens pictures books for? I understood when I opened to see that the illustrations were done by my moms cousin. It was very exciting and I'm pretty pumped to have this!

First Halloween I haven't done anything really exciting. Went to classes, worked hard in the scene shop, napped, ate candy. Sounds like a good Halloween to me. I wanted to be Buffy the Vampire Slayer this year. While I am naturally a dark haired individual, I decided to bleach my hair, what's the worst that could happen right?

It turned out interesting, the bottom and underparts of my hair are super blond, and the rest of my hair is kind of a reddish color. I approve.

I can't decide if I want to go back to black or do a milk tea kind of brown color. I already have the black, it would make more sense.

But now I'm just going to relax for the rest of the night in my awesome Elvira shirt, watch How I Met Your Mother and eat some Ramen.

Oh boy Ramen.

The Seahawks upset me. They can't seem to be at least decent. Ugh.

I'm also still bothered by the named change to the stadium they play in. What was once Qwest Field is now Century Link Field or 'The Clink'. I get it, I understand, Century Link bought Qwest, but I graduated high school on that field a few years back. It was Qwest Field then and I still call it Qwest field and get very confused when I hear the announcers call it Century Link Field.

I guess I should get used to it.

Awesome things though, I made cupcakes, and carved a pumpkin...that I proceeded to become very angry with.

Spooky treats.

One of the roommates and I decided we are going to make cupcakes this weekend. I think we're going to try and accomplish some Halloween cupcakes. I think she's doing chocolate and I'm doing funfetti [which is the best kind]. I am in no way a fantastic cook, and I wont pretend to be. But you can't really fuck up cupcakes that bad. I'm just unsure of what to decorate it with. Maybe just sprinkles. It also doesn't help when you don't have a lot of money to spare, rent is coming up, and you need to buy groceries.

I can't really get to Safeway at the moment, I'm waiting for the boyfriend to drive over here. Hopefully the traffic over the pass won't be too terrible like it's been for me when I've driven over. [I'm sure it will be though, all this random construction has them forcing the road down to one lane.]

Maybe I'll cook heat up the alfredo left overs.

I should be doing my midterm online right now. Apparently I'm not up to that.

Starting fresh.

I decided to come out of hiding, fix up my livejournal, and start posting again. Hurrah.

I have moved out to Ellensburg to finish up the last two years of my schooling. I'm getting myself a Theatre Generalist degree. So far so good, I enjoy it, and I've been working in the scene shop this quarter. It has been fantastic. I've noticed they enjoy having me work on the icicles for 'A Christmas Carol'. That and painting things.

Living away from home is exciting and a little sad. I enjoy being on my own away in a little college town, but I miss home. Everyone is home. All my friends, my family, my boyfriend, it's weird. I'm working on it.

I've been pulling out movies [Army of Darkness, Muppet Treasure Island(Classic), etc...] that I love and TV shows [Venture Bros., Rome, etc...] that I love to put me at ease. It helps sometimes.

Most entertaining thing that happened this quarter is that yesterday I got to skip out of scene shop to go see Edward James Olmos talk. It was fantastic. He was hilarious, told a lot of great stories, and gave a lot of great advice. I'm very glad I went.

I guess that's it for now. We'll see if I'll be able to remember to update.
